Following the success of Brazil’s participation in the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) in Shanghai, the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal) will take ten companies from the sector to participate in the Lineapelle/Simac trade show in Milan, Italy. The national participation will be supported by Brazilian Materials, an internationalization program maintained by the association in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The trade show will take place from September 23 to 25.
Assintecal’s International Market Manager, Luiz Ribas Júnior, believes that the current scenario, despite being turbulent internationally due to tariffs applied by the United States, remains strong. “Global production of footwear and leather is not going to stop because of the United States. As long as there is demand for leather and footwear, we will have an important role on the national and international scene, as we are a benchmark for quality, sustainability, and competitive pricing,” he emphasized. According to him, expectations for the event are positive, since the Italian fair receives a large number of visitors by taking place at the same time as Lineapelle, one of the world’s largest leather trade shows.
The following companies are participating in Simac with the support of Brazilian Materials: Smart Group, RBT, Primu’s Têxtil, RR Componentes, Dublauto, KS Solados, NBN, Michelon, BKS, and SystemHaus.
