Assintecal and ApexBrasil to Promote Digital Export Platform Event

The Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) will host an online event on September 23 to present the Buy Brazil platform.

The Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) will host an online event on September 23 to present the Buy Brazil platform. The website aims to connect Brazilian companies from various sectors with international buyers, thereby boosting national exports.

The presentation will be led by Juarez Leal, head of ApexBrasil’s Digital Platforms Department, and will be open to all interested companies without prior registration. “The platform, which is free for exporting companies of all levels of maturity, presents products and businesses to a global audience of buyers, distributors, and commercial partners,” he explains.

Launched in October 2024, the platform is used by more than 120 offices abroad, including ApexBrasil’s offices and Itamaraty’s Commercial Promotion Sectors. By July 2025, it had already reached over 19,000 unique visits from 151 countries. The countries with the most access are the United States, China, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, India, France, Colombia, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Currently, more than 430 companies are being promoted for free. “By December, the goal is to have over one thousand companies benefiting,” Leal projects, noting that with “one click, the international buyer can access a company’s strategic information and products in a single place, making their navigation and decision-making process easier.”

On the Buy Brazil website, exporting companies can include information such as: a brief company history and contact details; a product portfolio in English; international certifications; the year they began exporting; export destinations; international events they participate in; and photos, videos, and images of the company and products. Buy Brazil will be available online at buybrazil.com.

Complementing the ApexBrasil presentation, Tomás Bello, a partner at Castro, a company specializing in Branding, Strategy, and Communication, will speak on the topic “Brand: A Product That’s Worth It. An Overview of Branding & Digital Positioning.”
