The Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal), the organizer of INSPIRAMAIS, brought the event to Brazil’s main footwear hubs. The goal was to democratize access to Latin America’s largest fashion materials launch event, sharing information from the Human research and the more than one thousand materials presented at the most recent edition of the show in July with more companies.
Assintecal’s Superintendent, Silvana Dilly, explains that the event, although held in a pocket version, brought the main experiences of INSPIRAMAIS to the footwear hubs of Franca/SP (August 5), Birigui/SP (August 12), Novo Hamburgo/RS (August 26), Juazeiro do Norte/CE (September 9), and Campina Grande/PB (September 12). “The format, although reduced, allowed business owners and industry professionals to access the applications of the materials launched at the show,” she emphasizes.
SEINCC
During the Santa Catarina Footwear Industry Week (SEINCC), which takes place at the São João Batista/SC Events Center on September 23 and 24, the INSPIRAMAIS event for the Santa Catarina hub will be held. Presentations, workshops, and a lecture will take place over the two days and will be led by Assintecal consultant Joana Dalla Roza. The exhibition will be open to fair visitors.
The Research
The Human research, which served as the basis for the launch of more than one thousand materials presented at INSPIRAMAIS, had “Hope” as its keyword. According to Rodrigues, however, it is a “committed hope.” “A hope that rescatues a sense of community and utopia.” The Human research presented materials influenced by dance, playfulness, maximalism, nostalgia, and youth culture. With a technological basis, the Community subtheme drew heavily from movement, elasticity, and fluidity, featuring many satins, transparencies, and knits. The Utopia subtheme, on the other hand, brought a lot of intensity, present in maximalism, prints, and distortions. In the color palette, pea green, shades of blue, and salmon stood out.
Partnerships
The INSPIRAMAIS in the hubs had the partnership of the Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Businesses (Sebrae). The promotion was by Assintecal in partnership with the Center for Brazilian Tanning Industries (CICB), the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit), and the Brazilian Furniture Industries Association (Abimóvel).
