The Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal) is taking ten companies from the sector to participate in the 24th Santa Catarina Footwear Industry Week (SEINCC). The event, which takes place in São João Batista/SC from September 23 to 24, will feature 100 exhibitors mainly from São Paulo, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, and Minas Gerais, who will present new developments in machinery, components, and accessories for the footwear market.

In addition to business, Assintecal’s participation will include a pocket edition of INSPIRAMAIS, a trade show that launched more than a thousand materials for the fashion industry in July. The exhibition will feature some of the products launched in line with the Human research, which presented materials influenced by dance, playfulness, maximalism, nostalgia, and youth culture to the market. Assintecal consultant Joana Dalla Roza will coordinate the space.

According to Assintecal, last year’s fair saw the supported component companies generate more than R$ 745,000 in confirmed and prospective deals at the event. “For this year, the outlook is positive, especially given the projected growth in footwear production,” says Aline Santos, Assintecal’s superintendent.

The companies participating in SEINCC with the support of Assintecal are Excell Company, Reginato Metais, GP Matrizes, Tacosola, Alynis, Ambiente Verde, Plastiluzzi, Vale Têxtil, Sansin, and Artecola.
