The Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal) has just launched the new website for Brazilian Materials, a program that supports component exports. This program is a partnership between Assintecal and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The new site has been adapted to align with Assintecal’s new visual identity.
According to Aline Santos, the entity’s Marketing and Relationship Manager, the new site reinforces its commitment to expanding the Brazilian Materials brand internationally, bringing the best materials and machinery for leather and footwear to the world. “The inspiration for the design is to graphically demonstrate Assintecal’s direction with the Brazilian Materials brand, which was launched in partnership with ApexBrasil, reinforcing our new identity. In its essence, it’s a brand built by companies, people, processes, creativity, and sustainability. These attributes combine their strengths to build the Brazilian industry and explore the world,” Santos explained.
Pioneering Efforts
First signed in 1998, the Brazilian Materials program is one of the pioneers in partnership with ApexBrasil. Santos notes that before the agreement, the sector was very focused on the Brazilian market. “There was no work to promote direct exports, which began with Brazilian Materials. Today, our materials are in over 70 countries,” she highlighted. According to Santos, Brazilian Materials not only enables trade promotion at international events and programs that bring importers to Brazil but also provides tools for training member companies. Currently, the companies associated with the program account for more than 50% of Brazil’s component sector exports.
