The Peruvian fair is expected to generate R$11.3 million for Brazilian companies
The Peruvian fair Expo Detalles, which took place between August 6 and 8, in Lima, is expected to generate US$ 2.1 million for 21 Brazilian companies producing components for footwear and leather. This amount includes deals made on-site and those set up at the event. Participation was made possible with the support of Brazilian Materials, an export support program for the sector maintained by the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear, and Artifacts (Assintecal) in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).

Luiz Ribas Júnior, International Market Manager at Assintecal, highlights that there were 378 contacts with importers, mostly from Latin America. “Of these contacts, 365 were new, which allowed companies to open new markets,” he celebrates. Immediate deals generated US$150 thousand. “Visitation this edition was greater and of higher quality than in previous editions. Exhibitors were very happy with the contacts made,” adds Ribas Júnior.
In addition to the business generated, the fair also featured a presentation of the Human research, materialized in more than a thousand products in the most recent edition of INSPIRAMAIS, in São Paulo/SP. The presentation was conducted by Marnei Carminatti, consultant for Assintecal’s Design and Research Center.
